The U.S. adult smoking rate fell to a historic low of 13.9 percent in 2017, reversing a one-year uptick, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday. The rate reflects that about 34 million adult Americans still smoke traditional cigarettes. The rate was 15.8 percent in 2016 and 15.1 percent in 2015. For more of this story, click here.
