Agriculture Commissioner Troxler will speak at N.C. Agriculture Rally Monday

WHO/WHAT: Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will speak in support of North Carolina agriculture, agribusinesses and farm families at the planned N.C. Agriculture Rally.
WHEN/WHERE: Monday, June 25, 4-6 p.m.
The program is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Bicentennial Mall
Downtown Raleigh between the Agriculture Building and the N.C. Museum of History.

WHY: North Carolina’s agriculture and agribusiness industry has an over $87 billion economic impact to the economy and employs a fifth of the workforce or 730,000 people. Agriculture is the economic driver of rural North Carolina. The rally will draw attention to the importance of North Carolina’s agriculture and agribusiness industry and show support for the state’s farm families.
