Rep. Chuck McGrady was one of only a few Republicans in the General Assembly who voted against the N.C. Farm Act of 2018, an act that restricts how landowners can file nuisance claims against agricultural operations. McGrady said he could support much of the bill, but changes to nuisance laws would pose a threat to private property rights across North Carolina.
