Gaia Herbs gets incentives to open Mills River facility

A Brevard-based manufacturer is looking to consolidate and expand operations at a new site in Mill River, hoping to bring 30 jobs and $12.2 million in investment over the next five years. Herbal supplement manufacturer Gaia Herbs wants to consolidate multiple leased facilities, including one in East Flat Rock, and expand production capabilities at a new site in Mills River. The new location will be at the corner of Butler Farm Road and Old Fanning Bridge Road, across from the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center.
