Hosted last weekend in Los Angeles, the Animal Rights National Conference 2018 brought together meat-hating activists of all stripes—including plenty of wingnuts.

The event was put on by Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM). Only this year, FARM’s Alex Hershaft wasn’t the main organizer due to his “#MeToo” problem surfacing earlier this year, right after Wayne Pacelle’s. One employee claimed Hershaft—who’s apparently into BDSM—would watch porn on office computers while the employee heard moaning and spanking sounds. But that was hardly the only awkward moment at the conference.
