State Rep. Bob Muller said his decision to retire after less than a year as Pender County’s representative in the N.C. House was an easy one. “I’m 86 years old,” Muller, R-Pender, said in a farewell speech on the House floor. “If I ran and was elected, I’d be 88 in my next term.”
