As the Republican National Committee nears a decision on where to host the 2020 GOP presidential convention, multiple sources say the momentum appears to be with Charlotte. "All indications are Charlotte is the leading candidate and people connected to the process believe it is coming, but that is not finalized," a Republican official familiar with the proceedings told McClatchy.
