Preparations for the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky, took three years, and officials say the impact is still being felt in the only other city in the United States to host the international event. Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring will be the site of the largest horse event in the world Sept. 12-23.
