The former Humane Society U.S. president who was forced to resign this year over sexual harassment allegations is quietly helping a friend's PAC lobby for animal welfare issues on Capitol Hill, according to an internal memo obtained by POLITICO's Ian Kullgren. The move is creating friction with the Humane Society, which is considering legal action against Pacelle for violating a non-compete clause in his contract, Ian writes.
