On Tuesday, August 21, from 9:00 a.m. till noon, there will be a corn plot tour located on old 75 in Granville County, a 1/4 mile from the Lake Butner / Holt turn off. The plot is located across from the Umstead Farm Shop. Agenda will discuss corn earworm and corn bt resistance, 3-year corn emergence study, looking at forage corn hybrids and regular corn hybrids, and discussion on trade tariffs. Lunch will be served.
