WHO/WHAT: Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will join other ag leaders from across the country to discuss nuisance lawsuits and their threat to agriculture and farm families. Troxler will be part of the National Agriculture Leaders Roundtable hosted by U.S. Congressman David Rouzer. WHY: North Carolina’s agriculture and agribusiness industry has an over $87 billion economic impact to the economy and employs a fifth of the workforce or 730,000 people. Agriculture is the economic driver of rural North Carolina. Nuisance lawsuits are a threat to the livelihood of farmers and farming communities in North Carolina as well as other states.
