N.C. voters face six constitutional amendments

The Democratic governor and the Republican-controlled legislature have been battling in the last few weeks over six proposed amendments to the North Carolina Constitution that will be on the ballot in November. The legislature met this month to override a gubernatorial veto regarding how the amendments will be described on ballots. Some of the amendments are being challenged in court by critics, including Gov. Roy Cooper, who want to keep them off the ballot.
