The National Agricultural Statistics Service August Crop Production Report dropped Aug. 10, and it showed some Southeast farmers are eying record yields for 2018. Farmers in one state pretty much ready to set records across the row-crop board. If all things go well the remainder of the growing season and the NASS report holds true Alabama farmers expect to set new yield records for corn, cotton, peanuts and soybeans in 2018.
