It’s been a long time coming, but FSMA, the Food Safety Modernization Act, is finally upon us, and to prep farmers for how it will work, farm regulatory agencies across the country are gearing up with On-Farm Readiness Reviews. Joe Reardon is the NC Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture for Consumer Protection, and he has been a driving force behind the reviews. Mike Davis reports.
