WHAT/WHO: Wineries from across the state will usher in N.C. Wine and Grape Month with a kick-off event featuring wine tastings and an update on the state of the industry. The event is geared to the restaurant industry and is not open to the public, but media are welcome to attend.

North Carolina’s wine and grape industry contributes $1.97 billion to the state’s economy and employs more than 10,000 people.
