With two weeks until the FEI World Equestrian Games gallops into Western North Carolina, tickets are starting to sell out for the most popular events despite social media grumbling over the high price of parking and restrictive security. The world’s largest equestrian event, which takes place every four years in the middle of the Olympic cycle, the Equestrian Games run Sept. 11-23 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Polk County.
