Millennials are continuing to impact the organic produce industry. As this largest demographic influences what the marketplace looks like on a number of fronts, one day most believe organic produce will just be called produce because consumers will expect produce to be organic. The Organic Produce Network and Nielsen estimate the organic produce market as recording approximately $5 billion in sales last year, representing an 8 percent increase from the year prior.
