Not only does the Apple Festival pay tribute to the growing local industry, it has become an annual family affair.
For Apple Festival Board President Cheryl Gudger-Thompson, examples are plentiful this year. Her twin granddaughters, Dakota and Maddi Corn, turn 13 in a few days, and have been coming to the festival every year of their lives.
