2 named storms now in the Atlantic; should we be worried?

A second tropical storm formed in the Atlantic basin Monday, but neither Florence or Gordon appears to be a threat to Southeastern North Carolina at this time. Tropical Storm Gordon formed early Monday morning just off the Florida Keys, prompting weather forecasters to issue storm warnings for portions of South Florida and the keys.
