USA Today and 10Best.com recently named the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina as one of the Top 10 wine regions in the United States. 10Best editors and a panel of experts chose a list of 20 nominess, and the Top 10 were chosen by popular vote.
The United States has 242 American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), according to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
