Farm and Forest Landowners,
Please take a few minutes during these “calm before the storm” days to take photos of your farm.

Not just fences, barns, and equipment, BUT also, conservation practices that have been installed. Don’t forget your ponds, green houses, even trees.

If, and when, your county is determined to be a “qualified” county for emergency agricultural assistance and they ask us how do we know the damage came from Florence, I want our farm owners to say “because I have a before and after photos”. (This is a lesson we learned from hurricane Matthew.)

So please go out and take a nice stroll on the farm with your cell phone camera while the weather is mild.

I HOPE YOU NEVER NEED THE PHOTOS… BUT JUST IN CASE!
