 Isai Hernandez Rangel knew practically nothing about this eastern North Carolina hamlet when he boarded a bus a little over a week ago and traveled 2,000 miles in hopes of making money for him and his family. But since arriving Saturday, Rangel, who is from the central Mexican city of San Luis Potosi, has had little chance to work or to learn about his new temporary home.
