Here’s when Duke Energy expects to restore power after Florence

Duke expects it will take just over a week to restore power to its remaining customers who still have no electricity after Hurricane Florence and its aftermath swept across the Carolinas. Power should be restored to most customers by Sept. 26 at 11:45 p.m., Duke said. About 216,000 Duke customers in North Carolina and South Carolina were without power on Tuesday morning, including 3,000 in Mecklenburg County.
