Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are continuing to try to reach an agreement on a new five-year Farm Bill. U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan is the Ranking Member of the Agriculture Committee and co-wrote the Senate version with Kansas Republican and chairman Pat Roberts. “As usual, there are regional differences that come up,” said Stabenow. “Usually it’s less about partisanship and more about regions and commodities that are grown.”
