Thursday is judgment day for new USDA funding

House and Senate negotiators will know by Thursday whether or not they're going to finish a four-bill minibus spending package, H.R. 6147 (115), before the Sept. 30 deadline, according to Senate Appropriations Chairman Richard Shelby. The package includes Agriculture-FDA funding, as well as the Interior-EPA measure.
