The U.S. International Trade Commission announced that Dec. 20 is the deadline for comments on the economic impact of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement on the U.S. economy. The investigation, titled “Likely Impact on the U.S. Economy and on Specific Industry Sectors,” was requested by the U.S. Trade Representative in a letter received Aug. 31. At that time Mexico had agreed to a bilateral agreement to replace the NAFTA treaty.
