Sister companies Copland Fabrics and Copland Industries in Burlington will cease manufacturing operations by the end of 2018, resulting in 200 lost jobs and the end of a family-owned company that has been operating in the Triad since 1941. Jason Copland, president and CEO of the companies, told Triad Business Journal he will spend much of the remaining year helping workers find future employment.
