Food prices are going up next year

Mondelez says it's raising prices for many of its brands including Oreos due to increased transportation and freight costs; home appliance maker Whirlpool reportedly wants its inventory back from now-bankrupt retailer Sears. Expect to pay more for groceries next year. Major food giants Mondelez, Hershey Co, Nestle SA, Unilever and Coca-Cola Co. have all announced they will need to hike prices in 2019 to offset higher freight and ingredient costs.
