US Rep. Mark Meadows cruises to fourth term over Price

Republican incumbent Mark Meadows will be returning to Washington, D.C. for a fourth term, securing a substantial lead over two challengers Tuesday night. With all precincts reporting, Meadows defeated Democratic challenger Phillip Price by taking 59.24 percent of the vote to Price’s 38.73 percent, or 176,858 votes to 115,626. Libertarian candidate Clifton B. Ingram Jr. had just more than of 2 percent of the vote, with 6,066 votes.
