The following is a summary of market prices and conditions of North Carolina farm products for November 06, 2018...

Cattle:  At the livestock auctions held Monday in Canton, Turnersburg, and Siler City a total of 2,178 cattle, 72 goats, and 14 sheep were sold.  When compared to the previous sales, slaughter cattle were mostly $2.00 to $6.00 lower.  Feeder steers were mostly $2.50 to $3.50 lower, bulls were mostly sharply lower, heifers were mostly steady to $6.00 higher.  Demand, market activity and buyer in
