USDA will swear in seven farmer-leaders at the National Peanut Board’s quarterly board meeting December 4-5 at The Ellis Hotel, 176 Peachtree Street, NW, Atlanta, Ga. 30303. Members and alternates were appointed to the National Peanut Board earlier this year by Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and will serve three-year terms from Jan. 1, 2019 to Dec. 31, 2021. Returning members to be sworn in are Andy Bell (Ga.), Bud Bowers (S.C.) and Peter Froese Jr. (Texas).
