Anti-pesticide groups oppose Hutchins' nomination

More than 245 groups against the broad use of pesticides are opposing Scott Hutchins' nomination as USDA chief scientist because they say his ties to Corteva Agriscience, a division of DowDuPont, "present serious conflicts of interest that will undoubtedly affect his ability" to serve in the role if confirmed by the Senate.
