Trade war spurs ag changes in China

The escalation of tariffs between the U.S. and China has prompted Beijing to take steps to modernize its agriculture industry, which is dominated by small farms with low crop yields. The Chinese government plans to build 254 "strong agricultural industrial towns" and, potentially, lift a ban on genetically modified seeds.
