In October, Dennis Riddick, Gates County peanut farmer, hosted a group of Japanese peanut industry representatives.  The trade mission was organized by Stephanie Grunenfelder of the American Peanut Council Export Division. 22 Japanese who are involved in the Japanese peanut industry were here to see all aspects of the US peanut industry. They were buyers, brokers and manufacturers.
