Marion Pridgen watched from his pickup truck as two harvesters cut through a patch of soybeans. Pridgen Farms raised 1,250 acres of soybeans this year, but harvesting them has been slow. “It’s just been one of those years, one of those seasons,” Pridgen said. “Last year we were pretty close to being finished by this time of the year and this year we are just getting started.” For more of this story, click here.
