Yadkin Riverkeeper names new executive director, riverkeeper

The Yadkin Riverkeeper, a nonprofit organization based in Winston-Salem that looks after the health of the Yadkin Pee Dee River Basin, has hired a new executive director and new riverkeeper. Lexington native Edgar Miller succeeds Terri Pratt as the organization’s executive director; and Boone native Brian Fannon takes over as the riverkeeper, a role he has filled on an interim basis since the former riverkeeper, Will Scott, left in April for the Duke Environmental Law Center.
