 They are an eastern North Carolina specialty. Oysters are on the menu all throughout our region. At the Boiler Room in Kinston, they are very popular. But what happens when a storm like Hurricane Florence comes through? It turns out one farmer's oyster crop took a major hit. That means businesses like the Boiler Room have to find other means of getting their oysters.
