Livestock hauling requires different rules

Think ahead to July in Indiana. You’re transporting a load of hogs across state lines in the 96 degree F heat and high humidity when the trailer blows a tire on Interstate 74 West. You know that stopping for a long period of time will be detrimental to the hogs, but what else can you do? After receiving a phone call from one of his employees in this situation, Mike Marsh, a livestock hauler and truck and trailer salesman, was required to do some fast and resourceful thinking. After sending a 24-hour tire service to the scene, he quickly phoned the Crawfordsville Fire Department.
