Gov. Roy Cooper's administration released thousands of documents Thursday related to the Atlantic Coast Pipeline and negotiations over a $57.8 million mitigation fund the pipeline consortium agree to pay. The General Assembly has held hearings on this fund and recently hired a private investigator to delve into whether there was any quid-pro-quo between the fund and the administration's decision to permit the pipeline, both of which were announced on the same day.
