Test results released this week showed extremely high GenX levels in water spilled onto a road and into a ditch in Bladen County from a tanker truck that left the nearby Chemours plant. The samples — taken by a resident who witnessed the Sept. 18 spill — were tested and showed that water in the road had 2.85 million parts per trillion, according to the results. Samples of water from a nearby ditch had 2.39 million parts per trillion, according to the testing results released Wednesday.
