The USPOULTRY Foundation awarded a $6,820 student recruiting grant to the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences’ Poultry Unit at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T). The grant was made possible in part by an endowing Foundation gift from Pilgrim’s and was presented by John Starkey, president of USPOULTRY, to Dr. Ralph Noble, chairman of the Department of Animal Sciences at N.C. A&T. Joining in the presentation were several N.C. A&T staff and students. A portion of the funds will be used for the N.C. A&T Poultry Science Club, which introduces students to the various professional opportunities available...
