Jeff Tyson, a soybean producer from Nashville, recently was elected president of the N.C. Soybean Producers Association at the 52nd Annual Meeting in Durham. As president, Tyson will seek to build an understanding of and appreciation for agriculture among consumers, while ensuring soybean farmers in North Carolina have the research-based resources they need to grow a successful crop.
