The April 27 Spring Festival at Setzer’s Landscape Nursery in Claremont will be especially festive this year. The business is celebrating its 50th year. What started out as a small venture to sell vegetable plants mushroomed into a big business that provided landscaping for commercial and residential properties and then settled into its current operation of growing, potting and selling large and small containers of decorative plants at the nursery, at events around the state, and as a wholesaler to other nurseries.
