Equipment manufacturers look for relief from tariffs with USMCA

The President talked about the USMCA agreement during his State of the Union speech, but for now, metal tariffs remain in place with Mexico and Canada. That's one issue the Association of Equipment Manufacturers says needs to be addressed. AEM says overall equipment sales in 2018 were strong.  The report is in the association's U.S. Ag Tractor and Combine Report, which shows all machine sales year-to-date.  Self-propelled combines, 4-wheel drive tractors, and 2-wheel tractors showed year-to-date growth in December, despite the tariffs.  AgDay talked with Curt Blades of AEM.  See part of his interview below.
