Thursday is the last day for eligible farmers to apply for Market Facilitation Program payments. According to USDA, February 14 is also the deadline for producers to certify their 2018 production for MFP. This program will provide a second payment for farmers negatively impacted by retaliatory tariffs. Farmers who signed up prior to the first round of payments will automatically be issued a second payment.
