 Duke Energy Renewables has acquired a 100-megawatt solar energy project in Texas from 7X Energy Inc., a Texas-based solar developer, for an undisclosed amount. The project is based in Andrews County, Texas, on an approximate 800-acre site. The Lapetus project is expected to finish construction at the end of 2019, creating approximately 150 jobs and generating over $20 million in local property tax revenue.
