Last night, the U.S. Senate passed long-term PRIA reauthorization by voice vote. The PRIA legislation was passed earlier this week in the House of Representatives. The final legislation now heads to the President’s desk for his signature. PRIA-4 authorizes the industry’s fee-for-service program through 2023 and will preserve the process improvements and gains made since the original enactment in 2004.

Along with CLA, the PRIA coalition, which is made of up a diverse group of agriculture, non-ag commercial pesticide users and environmental organizations, worked diligently with Congress to make the passage of this legislation possible. We will send out another alert once the President has taken action and if you have further questions, please contact Beau Greenwood or Ethan Mathews.
