The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a rule to clarify what is and is not a “Water of the United States” under the Clean Water Act.

Farm Bureau strongly supports this proposed new clean water rule. It would replace the flawed 2015 WOTUS rule that provided unprecedented authority for federal agencies to regulate land use.

North Carolina farmers need common-sense regulations that protect water quality and allow you to farm under a clear and reasonable set of rules. You should not need a lawyer or consultant to know what is, and what is not, regulated.
Farmers need clean water and clear rules.
