Hendersonville City Council members approved incentives in the form of a waterline extension along Ladson Road near Mills River to support the construction of a large greenhouse facility that will be owned by Lakeside Produce. Lakeside announced plans in October to establish a tomato greenhouse, bringing in 50 jobs in the first phase by the end of the year. The city previously committed to partnering with Henderson County for the incentives.
