Waterline incentives approved for new Lakeside Produce greenhouse

Hendersonville City Council members approved incentives in the form of a waterline extension along Ladson Road near Mills River to support the construction of a large greenhouse facility that will be owned by Lakeside Produce. Lakeside announced plans in October to establish a tomato greenhouse, bringing in 50 jobs in the first phase by the end of the year. The city previously committed to partnering with Henderson County for the incentives. The installation of the waterline using city employees is estimated to cost $370,000, paid from the water and sewer fund...
