North Carolina manufacturers wanting free expertise to increase their export sales should register now for the 2019 Go Global Road Show, which is being presented April 1-4 in locations across the state.

The state’s foreign-based trade representatives will be traveling to North Carolina from their offices around the world to meet individually with export-ready businesses participating in the event, presented once a year by the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC).

“Our trade experts based in Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Europe, Mexico and the Middle East will be providing one-to-one consultations that dive deeply into whether a particular global market is a good fit for a company,” said John Loyack, EDPNC vice president for global business services. “And U.S. Export-Import Bank staff will be on-hand to discuss export-financing options.”

In addition, participants will be able to meet with the EDPNC’s North Carolina-based international trade managers, who specialize in industries such as biotechnology, information technology, plastics, aviation, automotive, textiles and furniture.
The road show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 1 at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, April 2 at Sprizzi Drink-Co in Cornelius, April 3 at High Country Council of Governments in Boone, and April 4 at Wake Technical Community College (RTP campus) in Morrisville.

Businesses must register in advance for appointments. For more information or to register, contact Jen Vogelsberg of the EDPNC’s international trade division at 919-447-7788 or email her at  jen.vogelsberg@edpnc.com. An event flyer can be downloaded here.
